AZAPO CONDEMNS VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND IMMEDIATELY CALLS FOR THE ARREST OF MAMPINTSHA.
AZAPO is appalled by the horrific and sadistic violence demonstrated by Mamphintsa whose real name is Mandla Maphumulo on Babes wodumo as captured live on Instagram. The South African Police Service and National Prosecution Authority must do their job and lock Mampintsha away.
Violence against women must be stopped, and it can only be stopped when perpetrators like Mamphintsa face the full might of the law and are removed from society.
The victim, Bongekile Simelane (Babes Wodumo), must be protected by all means and that can only happen when the South African Police Service acts immediately.
AZAPO cannot continue to helplessly watch our sisters, aunts, mothers and daughters be subjected to this abuse without SAPS raising a finger. Our country can never be free until all or women are free. Enough is enough, Mampintsha must be arrested immediately.
