From the Azanian People’s Organization, AZAPO
ON THE PASSING OF PRESIDENT ROBERT MUGABE
The Azanian People’s Organization, AZAPO, received with sadness the message of the passing of brother leader, a revolutionary and an uncompromising African icon, Comrade President Robert Mugabe.
His consistent cry on ‘Africa for Africans’, will always be remembered as he remains amongst the few African leaders who stood firm against attempts by imperialists to show their ugly noses again.
He reminded the West many a times, that, ‘Africa is capable of resolving her own problems, and do not need their interventions as they only come with conditions of regime changes, for their selfish interests’.
AZAPO mourns the passing of this hero of our struggle and extend our heartfelt condolences to the people of Zimbabwe, their government, the ZANU PF and the Mugabe family.
Go well brother leader. Please tell Colonel Gaddadi, Julius Nyerere, Thomas Sankara, Edwardo Mondlana, Samore Machel, Steven Biko, Mapetla Mohape, Onkgopotse Tiro, and many, that, it is not yet uhuru in mother Africa. Our African leaders are still stealing from the poor. Liberation movements in governments have turned against their promises of totally emancipation our people.
Africans still sell illegal substances to one another. We still hate and kill one another. We still rape and kill our women and children. AZAPO asks you to tell them Cde President Mugabe, that Africans are still poor and landless. We are still unable to feed ourselves.
Go well brother leader.
The struggle continues.
