RENAMING R25 MUNTU MYEZA DRIVE BY MEC OF GAUTENG ROADS AND TRANSPORT
The Azanian People’s Organisation (AZAPO) welcomes the intention of the Gauteng Roads and Transport Department to honour AZAPO Leader Muntu ka Myeza by renaming R25 after the late BC Stalwart. The Myeza family and AZAPO will be following the process with keen interest.
The proposed provincial road is fairly extensive as one comes across it from West Rand through the “northern suburbs” of Norwood right through Edenvale, Modderfontein past Thembisa to Bronkhportspruit.
The Azanian People’s Organisation (AZAPO) supports the renaming process and has further advised the family to give official consent and permission to the Gauteng Roads and Transport MEC, Dr Ismail Vadi to rename R25 in the Gauteng province – Muntu Myeza Drive.
